Osprey Yacht Club is a member of the Albemarle Sound Sailing Association and each year co-hosts, with Albemarle Plantation Marina, one of the four annual ASSA Regattas. Albemarle Plantation’s “Osprey Challenge Regatta” is held the fourth Saturday in June. OYC hosts a reception for visiting racers and crews on the Friday evening previous to race day. The Albemarle Plantation Marina makes available complimentary slip for racing boats. Contact the marina at 426-4037 for boat slip availability during regatta weekend.
